Engaged as Head of Growth with a particular focus on developing the Go To Market strategy for the launch of fintech mobile payment app xplore. More than a commission free (open-banking supported) payment platform for independent business owners, xplore has a lofty ambition to grow a global community of independent businesses and consumers to drive local economies by ensuring the flow of spend through towns and cities.
Starting with a hyper-local launch of MVP to test the appetite and formulate the pricing strategy, incremental product innovations & community partnerships were established at the end of 2023 in order to move towards a regional launch before rolling out in Q3 of 2024.
Intial tactical activity included a soft launch, delivery of the community gift card concept, social media & website content, alongside delivery of founder profile management strategy across new channels and LinkedIn. With a heavy emphasis on budget planning, local launch feasibility studies and readying marketing channels and platforms ahead of regional launch, the role was both strategic and hands on, in support of the founders vision at a critical time.
