The brief was to design an office for a wedding planner. Working from home, she wanted to use her dining room to meet with prospective clients, so it needed to be both a functional office space and give a great first impression. Reached from a narrow hallway, it would be separate from the rest of the family home. The french doors which opened into the garden afforded lots of natural daylight. Briefed to use a bold wallpaper as part of the design, I sourced a large, painterly floral pattern with a striking black background as the basis of the scheme.
