How much will it cost?
The cost of engaging an interior designer depends on the scope and nature of the project. An initial meeting to discuss your requirements is totally free of charge and utterly without obligation. At this meeting, we can discuss your budget and we will talk you through the different service levels on offer to help you meet your interior design goals.
After this meeting, you will be sent a ‘scope of works’ outlining your specific requirement and a fee proposal, which you will approve in writing before any work commences. You can get a feel for costs here: FEE STRUCTURE
Will you save me money?
Engaging the services of an interior designer can help you avoid making expensive mistakes and you can often benefit from trade discounts. Most importantly it can save you time (and energy) on sourcing products best suited to your project, leaving you time to get on with other, more important things.
How long will it take?
This depends on the stage at which you decide to engage us, the scale of the project and other projects we may have running. We will issue a draft schedule along with the initial fee proposal so that you have a good idea of timings before work commencing.
Bear in mind that the lead in time into a project once designs have been agreed can take several weeks, especially if appointing tradespeople, so the earlier you can get us involved, the more efficiently and smoothly the project will flow.
Can you help me implement the designs?
Absolutely. After you have given the initial designs the green light, we can move onto additional design services such as supplying you with written briefs for your own tradespeople, or alternatively appoint a team of skilled trades and project manage for you. You may decide that all you need is a shopping list of furniture, light fittings and decorative items in order to carry out the work yourself, or we can source, order and manage delivery of everything on your behalf. Our flexible, client-led service is designed to work around you.
Can you work with my own contractors?
Yes we can, however they need to be ‘on side’ and prepared to work as part of a team should the project require it. If you prefer to manage the project yourself, we can help with obtaining competitive quotes and appointing specialist trades such as electricians, site carpenters, decorators, furniture makers and upholsterers.
