With Bath as my base, I work collaboratively with clients that have an interior design requirement. Be it a single room, entire house, hotel, office or public space, I relish the challenge of turning a design brief into a beautiful, memorable and engaging space.
An honours degree in Business & Marketing tucked under my arm I headed to London where I worked in Advertising for a number of years, project managing large campaigns for some great clients before relocating to Somerset and starting a family. Various creative interests, from photography to ceramics and house renovations to school stage sets, my skill set converged when I was approached to lead a large commercial refurbishment project for a creative agency in Wiltshire. Balancing this alongside freelance residential commissions and a professional qualification from the KLC School of Design, my experience and expertise has led to the launch of my own interior design studio, providing interior design services to both residential & commercial clients.
I love being outside and often draw on the forms, colours and textures found in nature when coming up with designs for interiors. I believe our natural environment can help improve our wellbeing, inspire creativity and improve our productivity. Who doesn’t feel more engaged and less stressed after a stroll in the park at lunch time, having lessons under a tree during summer term or after a bracing walk in the countryside?
Also keen to promote home-grown talent and beautifully designed and crafted local products, my address book includes local furniture makers, wallpaper designers, artists and artisans, as well as qualified and experienced site carpenters, joiners, electricians and decorators. Preferring to work people who understand the importance of environmental responsibility and with products that are both beautiful and sustainable, you can find out more about how I work here and drop in on my social media here. I look forward to working with you.
